                                    Summary of Terms

By scheduling interpreting services with DJC Interpreting Service, LLC, you have agreed to the following terms:


  • Regular Business Hours for interpreting services are, Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

  • Assignments beginning at 5:00pm - 8:00am are considered After Hours.

  • There is a rate differential for interpreting services during After Hours, Weekends, and Holidays.

  • Generally, for assignments that are 1.5 or more hours long, a team of two interpreters will be scheduled. Through consultation, we will determine the appropriate resources for the assignment. There is a 2 hour minimum billing; time is billed in half-hour increments. 

  • If the consumer does not show up or the appointment is otherwise canceled and the interpreter arrives for the appointment, a bill will be sent for the scheduled service time and travel time.

  • Cancellation of service requests that are 2 consecutive days or less are required to be made with a minimum of 2 full business day’s notice of cancellation to avoid being charged for the scheduled service time.

  • Requests for interpreter services that are 3 or more consecutive days require 5 full business days notice of cancellation to avoid being charged for the scheduled service time.

  • Billing is for the entire scheduled service time regardless of early dismissal.

  • Interpreters often have 3-4 appointments in 1 day and accurate scheduling is essential. Please understand that an interpreter may not be available to stay for an assignment that runs over the scheduled time.

  • Terms are Net 21

  • DJC Interpreting Service, LLC interpreters adhere to the RID Code of Professional Conduct that requires assignment related information to remain confidential.
